A doorway to somewhere else.

I’m an artist, writer, and careful noticer based in Toronto.

I create drawings, photographs, comics, and writings that invite people to slow down, look differently, and encounter themselves through quiet acts of attention.

My work begins with a moment of noticing—something small, strange, overlooked.

Maybe it's a feeling I can't quite shake.
A shape, a tension, a question.

I don't make art to perform clarity. I make it to stay with what doesn't resolve.

For me, art is a way of offering attention to the world—and an invitation to look more closely.

A trace of meaning that lingers.

When I first left art school and got a studio, I knew I needed to make work on my own terms. I was suddenly free of homework assignments, critiques and instruction. Soon, something shifted. Instead of getting art done by making objects, I started asking different questions.

What if attention is the work?
What if uncertainty is the subject?

Poetic photography of shadows and architectural lines

Once, while I was installing a wall drawing in a gallery, a delivery person walked in and said:

“Whoa, that’s so cool.”

That unfiltered response stayed with me. I think about it often.

I work in photography, drawing, comics and writing, and the through-line is presence.

I’m interested in building small architectures of care—

A photograph that slows you down.

A comic that makes you laugh and then ache a little.

A short piece of writing that stays with you, quietly, all day.

You don’t have to resolve. You just have to be.

I make art for people who are curious, reflective and willing to be moved by small things.

My work isn’t about giving answers. It’s about building soft structures—places where you can slow down, hold questions, and encounter something true.
